About Tiffany

Tiffany majored in intercultural studies at Biola University in Los Angeles, California, and is fluent in Portuguese. She is a speaker, former missionary, and a K-12 educator. She spent ten years in South America fighting to escape domestic violence and recover her four children from parental abduction. Her story of suffering, restoration, and Christ-centered hope explores the transformative power of God’s promises and the incomparable bond between a mother and her children.

In an unfamiliar country, devastated by grief and hardship, Tiffany faced an impossible situation. She searched for help from US and overseas systems, but when they failed to act, she remained steadfast in her faith. She knew God walked each broken and painful step of the way with her. For years, Tiffany persisted through injustice, heartbreak, and poverty until strangers at a local church welcomed her in.

While hiding out at the church, she connected with a team of former US military personnel. Miraculously, the brave heroes carried out a daring rescue mission and brought the family back to safety in the US. After several months in a safe house, Tiffany and her children began rebuilding their lives from the ground up. Tiffany’s journey is one of faith, love, and survival, but it is also about the pain of leaving one child behind.

Her struggle sparked the interest of international human rights organizations and was showcased on the second-largest commercial network in the world, TV Globo. As a keynote speaker, Tiffany draws from a wealth of personal experience to help others find God’s tender grace amid faith-shattering circumstances. She has told her compelling story at churches, women’s events, and fundraisers. As a survivor of complex trauma and abuse, Tiffany is grateful for the healing she has experienced. She is keen to show the world how a new normal can be both happy and fulfilling.

Also a chef, Tiffany pioneered American baking in Brazil and was featured in the food magazine Gula. You can find her recipes for clean-eating on her blog. She is passionate about sharing the life-changing message of the Gospel, and her books kindle hope and equip readers to trust in God. Tiffany is mother to four children and lives on the East Coast where she enjoys gluten-free baking with her family and hanging out with their cat, Mimi.
